ST. PETERSBURG, FL June 1, 2012 ? Travel Insured International takes the top spot in US travel insurance sales for April according to comparison site Squaremouth.com. Travel Insured International has led the market in overall premium sold every month this year, and continues its reign by capturing 19.75% of the travel insurance market.
?Travel Insured International offers competitive pricing for seniors and families, making its products attractive to comparison shoppers,? says Squaremouth CEO Chris Harvey.
Travel Insured International and Global Alert Administrators were the only insurance providers to see an increase in sales from March to April, rising just over 1% to 19.75% and a half percent to 8.39%, respectively.
Seven Corners? sales declined just over 1% to 11.63%, while CSA Travel Protection also decreased around 1% to 15.32%.
According to Harvey it?s not unusual to see minor sales variations due to the nature of comparison shopping. ?Only two out of ten sales are from travelers who purchase the top travel insurance provider, leaving the other eight sales split amongst many providers,? says Harvey.
