University of Georgia College of Education students Robert Scot Allen and Qeiarra Johnson have received Paul Tappan Harwell Scholarships for 2012.

The scholarships are awarded annually by the department of elementary and social studies education to early childhood education majors. Both students will receive awards of $750 to use during their student teaching semester in fall 2012.
